MISSION:
 
The purpose of this site is to demonstrate how the construction of racial categories in Dominican Republic from the XVI to the XIX Century was a reflection of  the desire to negate the African ancestry and influence in the Dominican Republic; an influence that is undeniably embodied in Dominican vudú.
