This play addresses the way we think about death. For us, the Mapuche, our ancestors are still among us, they give us strength to affirm our identity. Our roots are strong and they are still among us.

The first performance of “Tayiñ Kuify Kvpan –Our Heritage” (Bariloche, 2004) occurred with the presentation of Wefkvletuyiñ's other projects, as well as performances by two Mapuche musician-activists:

Rodolfo Cancino, a young musician of Furilofche (Bariloche) whose first CD “Without Borders and Wire Fences” (2004) includes his own songs as well as his versions of Latin-American songs and songs written by other musicians from Patagonia. Coming from El Bolsón, 180 km away from Fruilofche, “Chacho” Liempe also performed in this event. He is a musician and a militant from the rural Mapuche organization CAI, in Río Negro.
