ANGELA ANNA GIRÓN
Angela Giron is a Faculty Associate at the ASU Polytechnic campus in the department of Humanities and Arts. She also teaches Cultural Viewpoints in the Arts and The Art of Storytelling for Estrella Mountain College and Glendale Community College. Angela has worked professionally in Theatre and Film out of Chicago, Los Angeles, Montreal and Toronto, Canada, and her play Letters from the State of Chihuahua, was included in the 2005 Festival of New Works on the ASU Mainstage.
The Body Speaks: Storytelling in Performance
The body includes but is not limited to the physical human body but bodies of dreams, landscapes, languages, barrios, homes. This performance will be created during the Encuentro by the participants of the workshop, facilitated by Angela Girón.
