The
mini-seminars and round tables provided encuentro participants with important
discussion opportunities, allowing them to come together to informally
discuss topics of intellectual, artistic and political interest. Some
of the themes were: "What is Performance?: A Multicultural Discussion",
Spectacles of Resistance, Strategies of transmission", "The
Performance of Social Memory", "Censored Sexualities",
"Performance of the Afro-Americas" and "Performance and
Activism".
