Bodies Occupying Luz

This project explores guerrilla lighting and squatting as urban activist methods and their relations to urban development. We will investigate how to develop tools for  communicating with light through movement. In collaboration with the MSTC movement (Movimento Sem Teto do Centro) and squatters in the neighbourhood Luz, in the center of São Paulo.

Biographies

Clara Lee Lundberg is a dancer, choreographer and journalist. Using dance and bodywork as artivist methods, she has a particular interest in investigation of social and political relations, neocolonial structures, queer theory, aesthetic norms and philosophical theories.

Lina FärJe is an architect and lighting designer interested in issues of city-making and activism.
