This is an extended workshop for participants interested in engaging in performance art in relationship to the specificity of a place. Using the heterogeneous spaces of São Paulo as our working material we will explore performancitos or “micro-performances” as a form of research into how we inhabit a city.

Biographies

Polina Porras Sivolobova is a multi disciplinary artist, working mainly with book arts, video, drawing, and performance art.

Chris Moffett, PhD, is a founding member of ARE (Aesthetic Relational Exercises). He works with movement and the imagery of education, the ways we imagine forming and being formed by our environments.
