The Living Archives–The Other Side of the Struggle

We know it's there, but we can't see it. After the cameras are put away, the riot porn is turned off, and it would seem that everyone else has gone home - what then? This participatory archive relates art and resistance in Quebec to a wider global movement. Each one of us is engaged in organising, activating and reinforcing our struggles.

Biography

[P(re)]Occupations thinks it's crucial we tell our own stories before we're cut out of them. Frédéric Biron Carmel is a tactical media activist pairing multimedia and data to encourage the documentation of abuses of state security forces.
