Confessions: A Solo Stage Action by Ana Correa

Ana Correa engages in a dialogue with the audience and shares her process of character creation during the era of political violence in Peru. Ana connects us to an actress that engages theater as a way of life, where presence and character inhabit a fine border line between fiction and reality.

Biography

Grupo Cultural Yuyachkani. Yuyachkani, a quechua word that means “I am thinking, I am remembering,” has been active for the past 43 years. It proposes an inclusive theater grounded in memory. Its plays and pedagogy engage Peru’s society and cultural diversity, involving the audience in a passionate act of reflection.
