Guizo LaNuit is a character who melds genderfuck, troubadour traditions with an ironic, socially conscious black humour.

Biography

Alexis O'Hara’s practice exploits allegories of the human voice via vocal & electronic improvisation, installation and performance. She and her drag king alter-ego, Guizo La Nuit, are mainstays of the Montreal cabaret scene. She has two bands with the artist Stephen Lawson, GuiGi and 10,000 Horses.
