I’m Not Your Mofo’ Ally traces messy herstories of a colonized Puerto Rico, race & identity politics in the U.S., fluidity, (substance/sexual) abuse and the ways that these conditions contextualize the complexities of being a political, queer woman “of color” trying to love herself in the midst of an existence that is deeply rooted in self-hate.

Biography

Samantha Galarza is a sassy mixed-raced, queer, SAG-AFTRA actress/writer/singer/poet/performance artist/professional ranter whose work explores queer identity, systemic and internalized isms, & policy that disproportionately affects ethnic minorities. Her dream is to bridge the gap between mainstream media and anti-colonial critical art.
