Composer and sound artist Miya Masaoka will be performing on the Japanese koto and computer, creating an interwoven blend of acoustic and processed koto sounds generated in real time.

Biography

Miya Masaoka is a musician, composer, performance artist, from the United States. She has created works for koto, laser interfaces, laptop and video and written scores for ensembles, chamber orchestras and mixed choirs.
