Amalia Córdova coordinates the Latin American Program for the Film and Video Center at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian in New York City, organizing video tours, film festivals and international screenings. She has attended several indigenous film festivals and writes on the development of indigenous media in Latin America. She holds an M.A. in Performance Studies from New York University and is currently a doctoral candidate in Cinema Studies at New York University. She is originally from Santiago, Chile, where she studied Fine Arts and Aesthetics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
