Biography

Logan Phillips is a bilingual writer, performer and multimedia artist from the Arizona / Mexico borderlands, born in Tombstone in 1983. He holds a B.A. in Spanish from Northern Arizona University and was a professor of Hispanic American Literature and translation at Universidad Internacional in Cuernavaca, Mexico. As a performer and poet, Phillips has toured throughout the US, Mexico and as far afield as Vancouver, Paris and Penzance, England. In 2007 he co-founded the binational multimedia performance group Verbobala Spoken Video. When not touring solo or with the group Verbobala Spoken Video, Phillips splits his time between Tucson and Mexico City.
