In this workshop we will cover technical and conceptual guidelines to generate visual narratives inspired by the theme of the Encuentro. We will combine our artistic interests with scholarly and touristic interests, working with the artists and actions during this event, with the intent to create intelligent and subjective documentation, always with a personal perspective.

Biography

Julio Pantoja is a photographer, journalist, and university educator and researcher. He is Director of Infoto Agency and of the Argentine Biennial of Documentary Photography. He has taught workshops in Argentina, Perú, México, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Brasil, Spain, France, Portugal and the USA . He is part of the Editorial Board of Atlântica magazine at the Institute of Ibero-American Culture in Portimão and is a member, since 2001 of the Hemispheric Institute.
