Death to the Law

Death to the Law recites and sings a cabaret protest against the laws of capital and social control. It focuses specifically on the Hinzpeter Law, which criminalizes social protest, and the Longueira Law, which divvied up $hile’s shores among the seven most powerful families in the country. Both laws are named after their creators.

Biography

Canción de la Nueva Trava is the coming together of Julia Antivilo and Cristian Condemarzo, who use performance to combine elements of popular music, poetry and political subversion. Appealing to the mnemo-sensorial in audiences, in the recognition of popular songs, we invite them to reflect about the present time.
