To reach the essence of mysticism from an extreme place of perception, in which culture blurs and access to the irrational is gained through the body. The Catholic igonography dissected and inquired in its symbols joins the female body as the rite's catalyst. 

Biography

A experimental movie maker María Luisa Ramírez' s short films have been presented in Madrid, Toronto, Valparaiso, La Paz y Santa Cruz, Buenos Aires and Hungary. Ramírez began her performance art work in 2000 when she joined Alexander del Re' s workshop in Chile. She presented her pieces in several performance art venues in South America.
