Edgar Fernando Cárdenas

When a human creation that engenders fantasies becomes a collective dream, vitality awakens and delights. This documentary attempts to reveal the experience of the participants' who constructed the "Match Titiri-Clown" the first group of puppets and clowning for the Bogotá carnival in 2006. This film was produced by JUTI, Juventud Titiritera, an interdisciplinary artists' collective that emerged out of seven  distinct puppet groups.

Biography

Edgar Fernando Cárdenas holds a degree in Visual Arts. He is a visual artist, puppeteer and clown. Since 2000, he has been the director and manager of A-Garrapattta Títeres y Payasos (A-Garrapattta Puppets and Clown).
