Jaramillo reinvents Lalo Guerrero's song "There's No Tortillas" with his comic and poignant rendition, with simultaneous translation by Eloísa Jaramillo. 

Biography

Alejandro Jaramillo Hoyos is a professor and researcher at the Institute for Communication and Cultural Studies and in the Masters program in Cultural Studies at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He conducts research on performance, politics, and modes of communication. Alejandro Jaramillo is a performance artist with a Interdisciplinary Masters in Theatre and Performance Arts from the same university.
