Drawn and Quartered (2007) Vallegrande 1967 (2008)
These videos are part of an ongoing series of reenactments of acts of violence that, having been depicted in popular media and decontextualized from the original incident, lose their initial meaning and propose new narrative readings. Drawn and Quartered (2007) and Vallegrande, 1967 (2008) form part of a trilogy that recreate three major events in Bolivian history: the deaths in Bolivia of world famous figures that have been mythologized through mediated recreations.
