Incubus-Succubus

This installation documents a performance by transvestite activist Diana Navarro, which took place at Esmeralda Pussycat, a porn movie theater in downtown Bogotá.

Biographies

Claudia Marcela Cadena is an architect at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá. Since 2003 she has been working with Colectivo Etérea, which she co-founded, and with which she has developed four research and creation tracks ("Ritual," "Undoing," "Archeologies and Imaginaries," and "Object of Use, Object of Contemplation"). Individually, she conducts a research project called Constructo habitado (Inhabited Construct).

Diana Navarro is a spokeperson for the trans prostitutes of Bogotá and is the director of Corporación Opción an organization that works for the rights of prostitutes and transgender people.
