YYZGRU Express

YYZGRU Express is a process- based performance consisting of a free parcel delivery system in which people from the Northern and Southern ends of the hemisphere can reconnect through exchanging personal objects. Participants in Toronto and beyond have sent gifts to their counterparts in Brazil that will be re-contextualized during the Encuentro.

Biography

Eugenio Salas (México City) lives and works in Toronto. Salas’ conceptual practice facilitates cross-pollination among audiences, artists and art workers that question their given roles and hierarchies, employing installation, photography, publishing and performative actions.
