El Abrigo de Maria Teresa (Maria Teresa's Coat)

This commemorative ritual marks the 40th year after the Chilean coup d’état, in which several women disappeared. The performance is a gesture of solidarity to pay tribute to María Teresa Bustillos and all the women who believed in their ideals. Never forget. This action seeks to reconstitute a collective memory around these disappearances.

Biografia

Christine Brault vive e trabalha em Montreal, no Canadá. Artista de performance e de arte relacional, recebeu bolsas do Canada Arts Council e do Conseil des arts et lettres du Québec e já apresentou a sua obra em vários países pelas Américas, na China e na Europa através de residências artísticas e de festivais internacionais de performance.
