Insurrection, Permission, Encryption
Using techniques from performative and textual interventions, this workshop will map tactics of insurrection, permission, and encryption to engage the desires of autonomy and longevity in collective projects. INSURRECTION takes up the pressing affective and bodily demand for immediate, burning change. PERMISSION explores tactics for negotiating juridical structures to produce lasting public inscriptions. ENCRYPTION is the relay between these modes, the conspiration to reinforce occupied and collective sites while nurturing their internal frameworks.
