Street Moves

Street Moves is a 3-day workshop that examines the street focusing on workers, performers, and citizens occupying public space. With partners in other countries we will collect and synchronize images and sound resulting in a live-networked performance. On location in Montreal the workshop will include online research, a walk in the city to collect and choreograph audio/visual material, further research to include specific topics determined of interest by the group, coordination with partners in other countries. A loose script will be developed to coordinate the live presentation that will be projected live during the Encuentro.

Perry Bard is a Canadian media artist living in New York. She works individually and collaboratively on public projects that examine power dynamics.

Lorie Novak uses various technologies of representation to explore memory, transmission and shifting meanings of photographs. She is faculty at NYU Photography & Imaging.
