Activism beyond the Interface: The Sandbox Project is an experimental lab followed by a public event using various media – from pen and paper to radio and video – to reflect on the productive coexistence of activist tactics, strategies and performative actions. The theme at Encuentro will be ‘blocks’ in their various connotations and potential.

Biographies

Roberta Buiani is an artivist, curator and researcher in art and science based in Toronto.

Alessandra Renzi is a media activist and research scholar at the School of Information Studies, University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
