Cuddle Commandos

The Cuddle Commandos project focuses on the transformative relationship between humour and social activism, incorporating satire, subversion, and parody as a means to address broader cultural concerns. The Commandos challenge traditional militaristic codes that connote power, hyper-masculinity, nationalistic honour, and absolute authority.

Biography

Christopher Moore is an Associate Professor in the Department of Design and Computation Arts at Concordia University. His multidisciplinary research and teaching interests are focused on the use of humour as a form of social resistance. Moore has participated in numerous international artist residencies, exhibitions, and conferences.
