Manifest Collective Movement

Manifest Collective Movement looks into the kinesthetic elements that have characterized some social movements that have been led or were originated primarily by women. It aims to represent the role of these varied female prescriptions as a tool to manifest resistance in the Americas.

Biographies

Jeca Rodríguez-Colón (Puerto Rican choreographer) and Mette Loulou von Kohl (mixed-race queer femme performer)are New York based artists who met each other through Hemi's EMERGENYC program. As collaborators they question the politics that surround their socio-political and familial relationships within the multi-cultural spaces they inhabit.
