[moviMento]

[moviMento] is a powerful rhythmic experience inspired by the Brazilian “escolas de samba”. With its considerable number of percussionists, the group offers a show that distinguishes itself by its artistic achievement. The efficiency of the rhythms is enhanced with dynamic choreographies that allow [moviMento] to give a blazing-red performance.

Biography

[moviMento] is a Brazilian percussions ensemble from Montreal that was created during the Quebec student movement of 2012, thanks to the initiative of Léo Guiollot, student percussionist. As the project appeared to be a wonderful musical vehicle for promoting social causes, its members decided to pursue their mission beyond the student strike.
