Biography

Elvira Colorado and Hortensia Colorado (Chichimec Otomi) are founders of Coatlicue Theatre Company. They write, perform and weave creation stories which are a part of who they are along with social, political and cultural issues affecting their communities through the ongoing invasion, colonization and genocide. Through their stories they educate and entertain. Their stories have the power to transform and heal communities.
